What is Yoga?

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India.

Our primary style is Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, meaning your Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance.

We offer private and small group yoga classes which focus on your needs, from improving flexibility to help you run better, to helping you manage your lower back pain through strength and proprioceptive training.
